Phil- you had such a kind heart, this world needs more people like you. I wish you didn't have to leave so soon. Rest in peace. Prayers to the Pizzuco family during this immeasurable loss....
To see that Philip loved sports as an adult does not surprise me. I had the pleasure of coaching Philip for several years in Pelham Bay Little League Baseball. Underlying his love of sports are the qualities that I saw in him as a youngster. Dedication, blue eyes that glowed with an inner quiet fire and passion, a great competitor, full of enthusiasm, a solid and loyal teammate, and an athlete are just a few of things that described him as a youngster in Little League. He was a pleasure to coach and on the rare occasions to hear him speak up, as a coach, you knew to listen. In addition, he was one of those rare kids that loved to practice as much as he loved to play the game. While life’s burdens, as we grow older, changes us in some ways the qualities that I saw in Philip then are the things that do not disappear. I am sure those qualities remained in him until his dying day. I will always remember him that way.
Heartfelt sympathy to the entire Pizzuco Family. There are no words to alleviate your great pain for this untimely loss of Phillip. May God grant you all peace.
The sadness and I have because you were called by God too soon is second only to the joy and happiness you gave to the world. The love and kindness you gave me is un-mesureable. Even though time and distance have been between us I have never forgotten you and I never will. I love you and always will. Rest in peace my brother.
