Obituary for Virginia Mary Lounsbury
Virginia M. (Dazi) Lounsbury passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at her home in Leicester, Vermont at the age of 72. She was surrounded by her husband, Charles Evans Lounsbury Jr., former Chief of the Carmel Fire Department, and her son, Daniel Lounsbury. A resident of Carmel, NY most of her life, Ginny was the daughter of Bordeo Dazi, owner of Bodie's Grocery and Deli on Rte 52 in Lake Carmel. She attended St. James the Apostle and was a graduate of Carmel High School, Class of 1961. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be deeply missed by her husband, son, her three grandchildren, Jessica, Alexis, and Shawn, and her two great-granddaughters, Elizabeth and Presley Ann.
