Obituary for Roosevelt Douglas Bynoe

In Loving Memory of Roosevelt D. Bynoe

Roosevelt D. Bynoe was born in Brooklyn, New York at Cumberland Hospital on March 28, 1925.
He moved with his parents to Barbados as a young child where he received his early education. He later came back to the United States and joined the Armed Forces at the age 18 and served approximately 3 years rising to the rank of Sergeant in the Army.
After serving in the Army, he attended City College, Brooklyn College and graduated from Pratt University where he received his degree in Electrical Engineering.
He was married in 1957 to his loving wife Charlotte J. Bynoe and had two sons, Koronten R. Bynoe and Rotibi E. Bynoe.
He later entered the Federal Government where he worked for the United States Department of Labor as an Area Supervisor for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
He was an intelligent man who loved the sciences and very interested in how things work. He enjoyed playing tennis and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte J. Bynoe, his son and daughter-in-law, Koronten R. Bynoe and Aracelis J. Bynoe and his youngest son Rotibi E. Bynoe and Ms. Regina Felix. He is loved by his family and will be greatly missed.
