James Amodeo passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on Sunday morning April 3, 2022 at the age of 79. He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Amodeo; his daughters, Joanne Meurer and Lori Bueti; his sons-in-law, Salvatore Bueti and Christopher Delamonico; and his grandchildren, Emily Bueti and Abigail Bueti, Kevin Meurer, Jr. and James Meurer, Carly Delamonico and Hannah Delamonico. He was predeceased by his daughter Michele Delamonico and son-in-law Kevin Meurer. He will be remembered on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 from 4-8 PM at Balsamo-Cordovano Funeral Home in Carmel, New York and his funeral mass will take place at St. James the Apostel RC Church in Carmel, New York on Wednesday, April 6th, 2022 at 11 AM and burial to follow at Saint Lawrence O'Toole Cemetery in Brewster, New York.
