Obituary for Barbara J. Vigliotti
Barbara Joan (Clements) Vigliotti, 80, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, surrounded by family passed on Wednesday, December 15, 2021. Born in Mount Vernon, NY on May 31, 1941 to William (Ben) and Emily (Prahlow) Clements. Currently residing in Lake Carmel, New York. Barbara has resided and raised her children in Westchester County, New York.
Barbara raised two daughters. She enjoyed watching the family grow with several grand children and great-grandchildren. Barbara retired from Mount Vernon Hospital . Barbara was owner and teacher of Creative Hands in Mount Vernon, New York where she spent several years and made many friends.
Her love for crafting is evident in the homes of her children, with many having crotchet afghans and ceramic pieces. A favorite vacation was going with the ladies to Cape Cod, MA.
In addition to being predeceased by her brother Ransom Emil Clements, she was also pre-deceased by her parents. Barbara is survived by her husband Charles A. Vigliotti and daughters Cheryl (Ronald) Paulson and Serena Vigliotti, 4 grandsons - Ronald (Christine) Paulson, Charles (Danielle) Paulson, Christopher (Cora) Paulson, John (Meagan) Vigliotti , 8 great- grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews, sister and brother. Barbara will be forever missed and loved by many as she has touched so many lives through the years.
A memorial service will be held February 20, 2022 at Balsamo-Cordovano Funeral Home 15 Church St., Carmel, NY 10512 during the hours of 1 - 5pm (845) BAL-2144. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to the charity of your choice.
