Ann M. Omme, originally of Mahopac, NY, age 82, beloved mother, grandmother and sister passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 7, 2021. Born in the Bronx, NY, on October 1, 1938 to John W. Kahrs and Eleanor M. Belding-Kahrs. We find comfort in knowing that Ann is now with her predeceased husband Robert G. Omme, Brother William (Billy) Kahrs, and her father and mother.

Ann and Robert were married on March 4, 1960, in Somers, NY. She was a devoted and proud mother and mother in law of Robin A. Harris (Daniel), Cheryl L. Astrologo (John) and Christopher Omme. A loving grandmother to, Samantha (Greg), Amanda (Jared), Johnny (Emily) and Kim as well as a great grandmother to Edison John. In addition, survivors include her dearest sister and best friend Eleanor Jazwinski (Raymond), nieces, Sondra (Rich), Sharon (Tim), nephew Kevin (Maryellen), John, William (Kathryn) and Belinda. Also, great nephews, Douglas and Gunnar.


Ann’s greatest joy was spending time with family, friends and knitting. Ann will be greatly missed and loved by all who knew her. Her legacy of love to her family and friends will continue to grow in our hearts.
