Carmela “Millie” Ragozzino
Carmela “Millie” Ragozzino longtime resident of Harrison, most recently living in Rye passed away at the age of 86. Millie was a loving and devoted mother, wife, aunt, sister, daughter and friend.
She was most proud of being a grandmother to her 2 adoring granddaughters Jaclyn and Jessica.
In addition to her granddaughters, her daughter JoAnn was the light of her life.
She was the happiest when surrounded by her family or close friends. Her positive attitude and infectious personality touched so many. Her light will continue to shine.
Millie devoted her life to her family. She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. Everyone would gather at her house and no one every would leave hungry or without a smile.
She is survived by her loving daughter, JoAnn and her husband Ed. Her caring nieces Phyllis, Claudia, Sally, Rosemarie, nephew Joseph and his wife Maria, and her beloved dog Toby.
Millie was pre-deceased by her parents Salvatore and Millie, her brothers Joe and Lou and her husband Frank Ragozzino.
She was member of the Columbiettes, and The Red Hat Society and enjoyed being part of the Senior communities in both Harrison and Rye.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to The American Cancer Society in her name.
