Obituary for Sadie Frances Scillufo (Sadie Perry)
Sadie Perry Scillufo of Harrison passed away peacefully on December 20, 2020.
At her request, only a private family service was held at the Harrison Funeral Home and she was laid to rest at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in White Plains, NY on December 24, 2020.
Sadie was born in Mamaroneck, NY to Catherine and Salvatore Perry. She attended the Harrison, NY School system. She worked as an accounts receivable manager for Rosco Laboratories from 1970-2012. In 1981 she married James Scillufo, a civil service employee of Harrison, NY, and a Coast Guard veteran.
Sadie loved to cook and would prepare feasts even when there were only a few guests! She also was an avid reader. But her true passion was playing golf and was a member of the “Maple Leafs” golf league in White Plains, NY for many years.
Sadie is preceded in death by three sisters and one brother. Sadie is survived by two daughters from her first marriage, Mary Zerega (Dennis) of Pennsylvania and Catherine Edwards (John) of Florida. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Dennis Zerega, Jr. (Jennifer) of Mahopac NY, Robert Zerega (Christina) of Pearl River, NY, and Kelly Hamilton (Ed Baker) of Magnolia, Delaware, and five great-grandchildren, Andrew James (A.J.); Ryan, Jack, Charlie and Ava.
