Joseph Henry McCaffrey died peacefully from cancer on July 4th, 2020. He was born on July 15, 1937 in New York, New York.
Joseph leaves behind four children, two siblings, eight grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
“Joe” enjoyed fishing, the beach, weekend drives, visiting friends and family, going to church, high tea, traveling, a good game of horseshoes, helping others, and devotion to family - especially his grandchildren.
Joe was a long time resident of New York, (Brooklyn, Mamaroneck, and Carmel), a member of St James Church in Carmel, NY, and a 60+ year member of The Knights of Columbus.
Funeral will be at St James Catholic Church in Carmel, NY on Saturday, July 18th at 12 noon, and buried in Holy Cross Cemetery in Brooklyn, NY on Monday, July 20th at 11am.
