Richard Turso was the beloved son of the late Rocco Turso, Sr. and Margret (Straface) Turso. He is survived by his two brothers, Rocco Turso, Jr, and Patrick Turso; and his daughter, Sharon Turso and grandson, William Turso.
Richard was a lifelong resident of Harrison, NY before moving to the Bronx, NY. He graduated from Harrison High School in the Class of 1966. Over his career he was self-employed working in construction and commercial real estate.
Richard was an avid sports fan following all major sports. He was passionate about golf and played it weekly during the season on local golf courses in Westchester County and the Bronx. He enjoyed watching golf tournaments throughout the year and could not wait to watch the next Masters Golf Tournament at Augusta Golf Club.
He will be reposing at the Harrison Funeral Home 329 Halstead Ave. Harrison, NY on Wednesday from 4-8 PM. Funeral to be held on Thursday 9 AM at the funeral home, Mass of the Christian burial at 10 AM St. Gregory the Great Church and burial at Greenwood Union, Rye, New York.
