My heart goes out to Eric and Amy's families. I became friends with Amy in 6th grade and considered her my best friend for over a decade. She was a sensitive, loving, smart and kind young woman and I am heart broken at the news of her loss. I looked up to her in so many ways and she made me a better person in ways that I never shared with her. Even though we lost touch over the years, I never stopped thinking of her and kept her in my heart always. Right now my heart is breaking, thinking of my beautiful friend with the strawberry blonde curls with whom I left so much unsaid, but with all that, I cannot possibly know the depths of your sadness right now, but please know you are not alone and that there are many friends who loved her too and are sending you love and prayers.
