Obituary for Antonio F Marucci

Antonio F. Marucci

Birth Place: San Bartolomeo in Galdo , Italy


Antonio is survived by his beloved wife Pasqualena, his children John, Marie and Anthony; his daughter-in-law's Marianne and Carmela; grandchildren Jessica, Frank, Tony, Samantha and Natalie great grandchildren Jai, Joseph, Josh, Nicholas, Joey and Addy.

 As with many immigrants come from Italy after World War II .Antonio's route to the United States first had to go through countries in South America where he learned the construction trade to better assimilate to the needs of a growing United States. Antonio arrived in the Bronx, NY in 1955 followed by his wife and son in 1956.

 While living in the Bronx, Antonio worked in the local laborers union No.235 and was involved in many of the projects of the growing town in Putnam County called Carmel. Antonio work on the Putnam County Hospital and George Fischer Middle School projects during the 1960s and eventually moved his family to Carmel in 1971 ,where he has resided since.

 Antonio quietly and proudly had built a life and has lived the American dream for him  and his wife,  children and grandchildren. HIs sacrifice of leaving Italy at a young age after World War II. Has allowed his family to become educated and prosper . As his surviving wife ,children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren we are so proud of our father; and we can never thank him enough for all he has given us; with the most important being love, loyalty a great sense of family. We love you and forever rest in peace
