Anthony W. Cacciola, 66, passed away May 12, 2017 in Harrison, New York.
Born August 25, 1950 to Joseph Cacciola, Sr. and Helen (Ferretti) Cacciola, Anthony was a life-long resident of Harrison.
As a young man he studied Marshall Arts and achieved a Black Belt in Karate. He also trained in California with Arnold Schwarzenegger during the filming of the 1977 movie, Pumping Iron, to become a body builder and fitness instructor. He returned to Harrison where he owned several businesses over the past forty years as a personal fitness instructor. Well known around town, Tony is remembered for his bright smile and kind words.
Anthony is survived by sister, Roseanne Ostrander; sister, Maryanne McLean; and brother, Joseph Cacciola, Jr. He is loved by his cousin, Albert Ferretti, who was more like a brother; and his nieces and nephews, HelenAnne (Ostrander) Lewis, Richard, David, and Lisa Ostrander, and Sean and Michael McLean.
A memorial service will be held on June 10, at 11:00 am at St. Gregory the Great Church in Harrison.
