Mrs. Theresa Vassallo entered eternal rest on Thursday May 11, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. She was 96 years old. Theresa was born in Harrison, N.Y. on May 15, 1920 to the late Domenick and Mary Aloisi , where she was raised and educated. In 1941 she married John Vassallo and together they remained in Harrison to raise their family. Theresa will be lovingly remembered as the family historian, sharing her vast knowledge and memories of all things Harrison, with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her children Rosemary Lent (Michael), Joseph (Lois), John (Jane), and Theresa Kolakowski, as well as 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Along with her parents, Theresa had been pre-deceased by her husband John, 2 brothers, and 3 sisters. The Vassallo family will be receiving friends on Sunday from 4-8 p.m. at the Harrison Funeral Home. The funeral will take place on Monday. Mass of the Christian Burial 10 a.m. at St. Gregory the Great Church. Interment to follow at the Greenwood Union Cemetery, Rye, N.Y.
