Condolences

Condolence From: Tom Fox
Condolence: I first met James (I always called him James) in 1983 with that great smile and laugh.
I was not feeling my best at that time and he was kind enough to offer to help me get my life back on track.
Now that was some years ago and we remained close for all these years. What James gave to me was the support that I needed to move my life forward. He always supported me in the adventures that I took on in my life. In 1984 he gave me advice to move on to another career which happened to work out very well for me, I was also going through a divorce that year and I don't think it would have turned out the way it did had not been for Jim.
Having met a beautiful woman a few years later we decided to marry, with the support of James we married in September 1987. I remember staying with the family in their home in College Point the night before. The next morning we found out that the Harp player for the church needed help bringing in the harp; James was the one to help her, in the pouring rain no less.
A year or so later Janet and I found a home in Pearl River NY. Since James and Judy had bought some homes in the past I asked them to come and take a look at the home, it was in October and again it was pouring like I have never seen before. James and Judy acted like it was a beautiful night out and rode up with us to see the home which we did buy. We had a wonderful life with a home filled with family and friends just like the one that James and Judy had in College Point until we moved to Florida in 2010.
Throughout the years we enjoyed a treasured friendship with a man that I always respected and admired. There were good times and sad times for us both, weddings, births and deaths, all of what life brings us, and now James will see his bride, as he always called Judy. As I think of that I can be happy for him but sad for my loss.
Love to all the wonderful family he has left behind. We will all miss him so.
Love,
Tom
