Liboria (‘Libby” or “Birdie”) Pancaldo, 90 years of age, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 15, 2016, at Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco, NY. Birdie was born March 12, 1926 in New York City, to the late Vincent and Millie Rao. Libby married the love of her life, the late James “Jack” Pancaldo and they were married for 63 years until he passed in 2008. They raised their family in Yonkers, New York and were devout Catholics putting their faith and trust in God. She is survived by her five children, John (and wife Evelyn), Vincent, Mela, Robert (and wife Mary Alice) and Laura. She is also survived by her sister Nina Vento, her ten grandchildren, her two great grandchildren and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Birdie loved spending time with family and was a loving and caring person, devoted wife, mother, and friend. She was a fabulous pianist and loved to play golf with her beloved husband. A wake will be held from 3pm- 7pm on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at the Sinatra Funeral Home 601 Yonkers Avenue, Yonkers, NY 10701. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30am Monday, December 19, 2016 at St. John the Baptist Church 670 Yonkers Avenue, Yonkers, NY 10704. Burial to follow to the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY
