Gilda Haussmann, left us way too early on March 20th, 2016 with her family by her side at Putnam Hospital Center in Carmel, N.Y

Gilda was born March 13th, 1951 in New York City to John and Gilda Saracco. She grew up in the Bronx where she met and married Bill Haussmann.

Her interests included family, friends, music and her beloved New York Mets. She devoted her time and energy as a caregiver to family members. Her thoughtfulness and kindness along with selfless acts will be remembered forever.

She is preceded in death by her parents John and Gilda Saracco along with her sister Deborah Saracco.

Gilda is survived by her husband Bill Haussmann; sons John and Bill Haussmann; daughter in laws Karen and Rhonda Haussmann; grandchildren Will Haussmann, Rachel Haussmann, Tyler Haussmann and Sabrina Haussmann; sisters Angela Belpedio and Stella Garofalo.

Gilda spent her last 10 years retired between the states of Florida and New York along with her husband after running a successful business together. They spent their retired days enjoying their time with each other along with family and friends.
