Stella Yacabowich Bambaci passed away on December 9th, 2015, in Indio, California. Stella was born on December 03, 1930, in Port Chester, NewYork and is a graduate of Port Chester High, class of 1948. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper and office manager in local businesses, she then retired at the age of 66.
Stella lived with her husband Frank A Bambaci Jr. in Harrison, New York for a number of years before moving to Rye, New York. Her husband predeceased her in 1990 and she then moved with her brother Peter to a senior community, Holiday City in Tom’s River, New Jersey. In 2007, her brother Peter passed away, and she moved to Norwalk, California to live with her niece Joan Yacabowich Vernola.
Stella was predeceased by sisters Helen Basso and Mary Muskus and brothers John Yacabowich and Peter Yacabowich.
She will be waked at the Harrison Funeral Home on Monday December 14th from 4pm to 9pm. The funeral mass will be held at St. Gregory the Great Church in Harrison, New York at 11 am on Tuesday the 15th. She will then be interned at Ferncliff Mausoleum to be alongside her husband.
